OnePlus 11 5G Review: What makes it the best 5G phone?

With the release of the new OnePlus 11 5G device, OnePlus plans to extend its modern smartphone line. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer has revealed the next handset’s debut date in India. The OnePlus 11 5G will be introduced in the country during the Cloud 11 event on February 7, 2023

OnePlus 11 5G has already been featured on professional certification websites, including Geekbench and 3C in China. This future item is now apparently mentioned with the same model number in various databases such as Bluetooth SIG.

OnePlus knows what makes a smartphone excellent after years of experience. And not by introducing needless gadgets. A superb flagship experience is achieved by concentrating on the smartphone’s primary features. This encompasses, among other things, cinematography, performance, and gaming.

The Cloud 11 name “signifies the enhanced technology and efficiency given by the company’s flagship innovations, and to raise the customer experience from Cloud 9 to Cloud 11,” according to the business. The company has announced that its next flagship phone — the OnePlus 11 5G Review, is equipped with a Hasselblad camera system and the reintroduction of the notification slider that was removed on the 10T. With OnePlus also teasing further goods, Oneplus Buds Pro 2 earbuds will appear too.

The OnePlus 11 5G Design

The 11’s strategy starts off where the 10 Pro cleared out off. The OnePlus 11 is designed similarly to the OnePlus 10 Pro, with the exception that the square form has been changed to a round shape. Can’t exactly say if the design is excellent or bad because everyone is used to OnePlus adopting identical designs.

The mirror portion of the OnePlus 11 lenses module has been reduced in size, making fingerprints less likely. But like the sparkling patches in the black region, which appear like unwashable dust is not really likable. The OnePlus 11 is only available in one size. It’s a big phone, with a 6.7-inch screen.

This time, the alert slider did not vanish, and the construction quality is excellent. The fingerprint sensor is also appropriate. This time, the OnePlus 11 5G employs the biggest vibration motor seen in an Android smartphone. The vibrations are the most similar to those of an iPhone, which makes the OnePlus 11 5G Review stand out. However, the USB-C connector is still USB 2.0, which makes this phone much more unsatisfactory.

OnePlus displays the phone in two colors. There’s a matte green hue that isn’t very British flashy green, and a polished dark wrap-up that is “silk glass” according to real or perceived content. This suggests that the wrap-up appears done, yet it is fair-quality glass to the screen touch.

The OnePlus 11 5G Display

According to the research, the OnePlus 11’s screen should be top-of-the-line. There is a 2K assessment, a high revival rate, and an LTPO. They have produced once again, particularly with their LTPO 3.0. The pace of revival in real-time is affected by how quickly or slowly you flick your fingertips. There is no color change even while blinking.

Doesn’t it appear to be a fantastic screen? However, there are some disadvantages. For whatever reason, this display’s screen is still the same.  This means it will consume more electricity than the current E6 screen and have a lower maximum brightness. You may be unable to view the display if you are outside in direct sunlight. Some individuals prefer DC lighting or high-frequency PWM lighting, both of which are not accessible with the OnePlus 11.

Because whether or not this display is nice is entirely up to you. If you’re more concerned about brightness, frame rate, and LTPO, this is a decent monitor. It is not a decent display if you are more interested in full brightness, energy consumption, and a good fading scheme.

The OnePlus 11 5G Camera

The OnePlus 11 boasts the same 50-megapixel primary and 48-megapixel ultrawide camera system as the OnePlus 10 Pro. It also sports a panoramic camera with a 32-megapixel sensor and 2x optical zoom, as opposed to the 8-megapixel sensor and 3.3x optical zoom on the 10 Pro.

Sony designed and manufactured all of the image sensors, including the one in the new telephoto camera. But it’s worth wondering if OnePlus and Hasselblad picked the 32-megapixel sensor and short telelens combination because it produces better photographs than the macro on the 10 Pro. If that’s the case, this is the first time we’ve seen OnePlus and Hasselblad collaborate on camera hardware.

According to the translated language, the new telescopic camera can shoot photographs with more realistic colors. According to the OnePlus China website, portrait mode photos have an effective background that resembles the effect of shots produced with Hasselblad’s XCD medium-format lenses.

The OnePlus 11 5G sample photographs seem decent, with balanced colors, and serve to highlight that fade away for skin complexion. We should take these photographs with a pinch of salt because almost every phone manufacturer’s website features amazing photos shot with their phones.  Unfortunately, there is no indication whether or not these photo enhancements will be applicable to live video.

The OnePlus 11 5G gaming features

For many people, smartphones have become their primary gaming platform. In fact, mobile gaming has grown so popular that even Major game makers have begun to release titles on the device. As a result, gaming is another component that each flagship smartphone must handle. In addition to a flagship-grade chipset, the OnePlus 11 5G should include enough RAM. The phone is rumored to have 16GB of RAM, which should be enough to run almost any game available at the moment for smartphones. Indeed, further RAM management functions should guarantee that RAM is used optimally depending on consumption. This should improve the overall game experience.

The OnePlus Battery and Charging Features

The OnePlus 11 5G has a large 5000 mAh battery, which is quite standard in premium phones. The battery backup is adequate, and the smartphone can easily last a whole day with intensive use. A light user may even be able to stretch the battery performance for a second day.

The LTPO screen and power-efficient CPU help to conserve battery life. People get about 6 hours of screen time, which is comparable to other smartphones with the same battery size.

What’s more, it supports 100W rapid charging. The phone can be charged from 0% to 100% in around 20 minutes. A ten-minute charge will charge the phone to about 50%.

It’s nice to note that the 100W charger is included in the box. It’s not the quickest out there, but it’s more than adequate for the ordinary user. Unfortunately, it does not include support for wireless charging, which I believe should be standard on a flagship smartphone.

One Plus 11 5G performance

OnePlus even states on the package that performance is its primary concern. And that clarifies what we may anticipate from this department. The newest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU powers the OnePlus 11, which is equipped with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS4.0 internal memory.

Users can also use the storage to boost the RAM by 8GB (on the 16GB edition), but I don’t believe that’s necessary considering that there is sufficient RAM currently. During normal use, the phone works wonderfully. The applications launched promptly, and moving between them was effortless.

Furthermore, RAM optimization is superb, and programs operate in the background for a long time. It will not raise a flame if you hurl anything at it. That’s the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for oneself.

You also receive HyperBoost 2.0, which helps to balance the framerate when playing a game. However, after around 50 minutes of gaming, the device did not overheat and kept a consistent temperature.

Models of OnePlus 11 5G

The OnePlus 11 is the company’s top model for 2023. There is still no OnePlus 11 Pro or 11 Ultra, however, there are still reports that these devices could be released later this year. However, nothing official.

In the past, rumors suggested that the OnePlus 11 would also go by the name OnePlus 11 Pro.

The OnePlus 11 is available in three storage/RAM configurations, however, all three are identical in terms of other specifications and features:

  1. 12GB RAM with 256GB of space
  2. 16GB RAM with 256GB of space
  3. 16GB RAM plus 512GB of space

The costs of the foreign OnePlus 11 variants are still unknown.

Wrapping It Up

So, yeah, the OnePlus 11 5G Review is a superb flagship phone that has wowed us. OnePlus has finally released a smartphone that is a real flagship in every way and worthy of recommendation. When it concerns performance, the smartphone is a beast, and the 2K Super AMOLED display only enhances multimedia consumption.

Even in poor lighting, the primary camera and ultra-wide camera produce excellent images. The phone lasts all day and charges quickly owing to the 100W fast charging. Somehow if it supported wireless charging it would’ve been great.

Overall, the OnePlus 11 5G is one of the greatest Android flagship smartphones available right now for anyone looking for the best functionality with amazing cameras.
